Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Welcome to Delhi - The Grand Capital of India. On arrival at Delhi airport or Delhi railway station, begin your tour of 'The Golden Triangle'. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Later, enjoy a city tour of Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat, Red
Fort ( closed on Monday ), drive past Jama Masjid, India Gate, the President's House, Parliament House and the Government Secretariat Buildings. If time permits, shop in the local market.Overnight stay at the hotel .
Day 2 : On to Agra via Mathura (204 kms / approx. 5 hour drive)
Today, your journey continues to the historical and romantic city of Agra. Enroute visit Mathura temple - birth place of Lord Krishna (ISKON). Further, continue your drive to Agra. On arrival at Agra check into the hotel. Later in the day, visit the Agra Fort containing the royal residential palaces, the Halls of Public and Private Audience, also visit Dayal Bagh Rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.Overnight stay at the hotel (B) .
Day 3 : On to Jaipur (232 kms / approx. 5 hour drive)
This morning after breakfast, visit the famous Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 AD for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal (closed on Friday). Later proceed to the Pink City of Jaipur. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. Continue your drive to Jaipur. On arrival at Jaipur, check into your hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activities.Overnight stay at the hotel (B) .
Day 4 : In Jaipur : Visit Amer fort & Nahargarh fort.
This morning after breakfast, visit the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs, Amer. You can take an elephant ride or the jeep ride upto the fort (on direct payment). Later visit Nahargarh fort. Thereafter, enjoy a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds, visit the City Palace and the apartment housing museums with an array of textiles, costumes, arms, weapons and paintings and finally visit Jantar Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II. Rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activities.Overnight stay at the hotel (B) .
Day 5 : Depart Jaipur or on to Delhi (260 kms / approx. 5 hour drive) * Return home with happy memories
Today bid farewell to your 'The Golden Triangle' tour, as you are transferred to Jaipur airport or Jaipur railway station or you can also opt for a transfer to Delhi airport or Delhi railway station for your onward journey. (B)
